  1. reading your reviews

    Hi Kate,

I think I have been looking for you. No, I’m not a stalker, unless you are the Messner who wrote the review of “A Crooked Kind of Perfect” on Amazon. I loved the review–and the book–and I looked for a way to contact L.K. Messner to request a review for my book. So, I’m hoping the Kate Messner who responded to my question about marketing on Verla Kay’s site is the same one. If you’re not, disregard my voyeurism into your life:) However, I intend to request your book for the public library I work at, so maybe that will make up for the stalking thing.

  2. Re: reading your reviews

Hi there- I’m the one who wrote the review of CROOKED (and yes, I really, really loved it). I’m not officially a book reviewer – just a children’s author who sometimes posts reviews on my blog and cross posts to Amazon because I know that helps writers. But you don’t sound like a stalker, so by all means, drop me an email about your book (kmessner at katemessner dot com). I’d at least like to hear about it because I teach 7th graders, and I’m always looking for new titles for them.

By the way, just so you know, comments you leave on LJ are anonymous if you’re not a logged-in user, so it’s a good idea for you to sign your name if you’re trying to get in touch with someone.
