  1. Wish you could make it, but 3000 miles is a long way. (This is how I always feel when I can’t go to one of those incredible “Not Your Mother’s Book Club” events!

  2. Is it okay if I add you to this list? I included everyone on the original list from Susanna, but I’m realizing more people have signed up since then. If you send me a link to your website, I’ll include that, too. I’m looking forward to meeting you!

  3. I wish you could be there, too. But note: you inspired similar green-with-envy feelings with last week’s ALA posts. It looks like you had a great time!

  4. Wow, what a day you will have! That same day I’m doing a workshop for 35 kids at the library. NOT quite the same, huh? Wanna trade? LOL.
    HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME!

  5. Re: !! WOW !!

Some of them are actually facilitating at the retreat – but yes, all will be there. The Caravan is the only event that’s open to the public, though. I know some area teachers are planning to attend.

  6. Actually, I love workshops with kids, so I’d be psyched about that, too. But…this is my first KW, so I think I’ll stick to my original plans.

  7. Kate, you will have a wonderful time. I’ve gone in the past — not something I can do every year, but always inspirational. I’m sorry I won’t get to meet you there this year, though!

  8. What a great line-up! I sooo want to be there. Have a wonderful book signing and a terrific time at KW!

Will Jane Yolen be attending KW too? What a blast that will be!

  9. I believe the Caravan is all people who are also “retreating.” The Phoenix Books event is the only part of the weekend that’s open to the public, though.
